CSA is the abbreviation of Canadian Standards Association. It if found in 1919 and the first nonprofit organization specially for develop industry standards. The safety certification shall be obtained for electronic and electrical appliances for Canada markets. CSA is Canada’s biggest safety certification organization. It can provide safety certification for machinery, building materials, electrical appliances, computer equipment, office equipment, environmental protection, medical, sports, entertainment and other aspects of all types of products.
By tested and certified with CSA international, the products was identified as full compliance with standards, can be sold in the United States and Canada markets.
CSA standards are voluntary. CSA marking is currently the world’s best-known symbol of product safety approval. Although it is non-enforcement, many regions of manufacturers like to recommend the products with this marking to customers and many buyers will even ask for the products with CSA marking.
