The National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO) is Brazil nation accreditation body, responsible for establishing national standards.
The products are subject to Brazilian standards established by INMETRO, but also must be pasted with mandatory INMETRO mark, certification and accreditation agency logos.
INMETRO marks are divided into compulsory and voluntary.
