Japan PSE certification is mandatory safety certification, to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the Japanese electrical and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international safety IEC standards test. Japan DENTORL method (electrical installations and Material Control Law) regulates that 498 kinds of products into the Japanese market must pass safety certification. Among them, 165 kinds of class A products should obtain diamond PSE mark, 333 kinds of class B products should obtain round PSE mark.
Japanese buyers in the purchase of goods must within one month register application to the Japanese Ministry of Economy (METI). Electrical and electronic products within DENAN directory scope must pass the PSE certification for sale in Japanese market. The DENAN divides the electrical and electronic products into two kinds: One is specified products of 115 kinds; the other is non-specified products of 338 total categories. For the specified products, tests shall be performed and factory test equipment inspected by third-party certification organization authorized by METI, obtaining the PSE certificate. The validity is 3-7 years. The products shall pasted with diamond PSE mark. For non-specified products, the self-check and self-declaration is needed to prove the product conformity. The round PSE mark will be pasted on products.

Electric wire, fuse, Wiring devices (electrical appliance accessory, lighting appliances), current limiter, transformer, ballast, electric heating appliances, household appliances, electronic application of mechanic appliances, other AC electrical mechanical appliances, mobile engine.
