Household appliance manufacturers must obtain different “passport” to enter each export market during the internationalized operation process.
Electrical Safety and EMC
The basic requirements for the electrical safety of household appliances are to prevent various potential risks arising out of the use of such products and avoid unnecessary personal injury and property loss, including electric shock or electrocution, high temperature or fire, mechanical danger, radiological hazards, chemical hazards and so on. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) mainly checks the products’ resistance to electromagnetic interference arising out of or existed in the environment in normal operation, including Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Susceptibility (EMS).
