Singapore Trade and Industry Bureau announced consumer products- Controlled goods, must comply with the safety standards. Singapore consumer protection registration program also has this requirement.
The Singapore company with tax nationality shall be the PSB certificate holder before the controlled goods entering the Singapore market. The goods can not be sold without PSB certification.
The license issuing authority is PSB (Productivity and Standard Board of Singapore).
a) The certificate hold must be Singapore’s registered local company
b) No factory inspection and annual fee
c) The certificate validity is 3 years
d) If product has plug, shall provide test report according to SS246
