E/e Mark is requirements by European common markets to ensure the driving safety and environment protection for mobile, related safety parts, noise and exhaust gas, by certifying and awarding conformity certification according to European directive and European economics institute regulations. The awarded number is different for different countries. E.g. apply to Germany, the E-Mark is E1/e1.
The Mark are two forms. One is rectangular frame, the other is circle frame. The rectangular frame mark denotes the products can be normal used but not necessary under vehicle stop and running conditions.
According to the directive 72/245/EEC and amendment 95/54/EC enforced as from October, 2002, the auto electrical and electronic products shall be certified by e-Mark and pasted by e-Mark.
Applicable products for E/e Mark include:
1. Vehicle - that is two or three or more moving motor vehicles, such as passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses and road vehicles outside;
2. Steam locomotive components - lights and bulbs, a variety of mirrors, tires, wheels, brakes, horn, anti-theft devices, seat belts, automotive glass and exhaust pipes, etc.;
3. Vehicle accessories - helmets, child safety seats, car electrical products subsidiary.
