SASO is the abbreviation of Saudi Arabian Standards Organization.
SASO is responsible for developing national standards for all commodities and products, which involves the measurement system and marking etc.
Most of the SASO standards are established on base of the IEC safety standards.

The SASO certification process
1. Apply to us, we will determine the appropriate SASO standards and inform you the certification process;
2. Tested on samples, please pay attention that some products (such as partly automotive and parts) need factory inspection;
3. Test pass, apply for SASO certificate. If fail, we will provide a detailed report to you.

When custom clearance for export to Saudi Arabia, the SASO technical staff will check the SASO certificate. If the certificate can not be provided, the product will be refused or deliver the samples to Saudi Arabia Ministry of Commerce or Industry or SASO lab for testing, the product will be refused if fail. All costs will be paid by the export enterprises.
